McCarthy, Lisalohorig, Skibbereen. On 22nd March 2022, MARY passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, in the exceptional care of the staff at Skibbereen Community Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Cornealius (Curly) McCarthy, mother of the late Kathleen McCarthy, and sister of the late Jackie and Timothy (Timmy) O'Leary. Sadly missed by her loving sons and daughters, Noreen, Martina, Donal, Sheila (Deasy), Patrick and John, sons-in-law and partner, Tony, Ricky and Cian, daughters-in-law Gertie and Caitriona, grandchildren Aoife, Mark, Caitlin, Cormac, Matthew, Ciardha, Roisin, Jack, Cian and Garvan, sisters-in-law Bridie McCarthy and Joan O'Leary, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, loyal friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Romie O'Donovan's Funeral Home, North St., Skibbereen on Friday, 25th March, from 5pm to 7 pm, followed by prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday, 26th March, at 12 noon in St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Skibbereen. Livestreamed on www.mycondolences.ie  Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Coronea, Skibbereen, via North St., Market St., Townshend St., Bridge St., and Upper Bridge St.
