Matthew (Matt) Thompson, Bray, Co. Wicklow and formerly Estate Cottages, Northumberland Road, Dublin 4. Passed peacefully on Thursday, 13th February 2025, in the tender loving care of the staff at Wicklow Hospice with his devoted family by his side. Will be sadly missed and remembered by his loving wife Joan of almost 70 years, his children Alan, Carolyn, Neil, Matthew and Debbie, sons-in-law Bob and Brian, daughters-in-law Katrina, Leanne and Bernie, grandchildren Jenny, Alex, Max, Abbey. Emma, Matthew, Ellie, and Deryn, Robyn, Jocelyn, Ross and their Dad Ben, great grandchildren Killian, Marceline and Eze, brother Walter, sisters-in-law Peggy and Sheila Thompson and Dymphna, Peggy and Violet, brother-in-law Tommy, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends, especially his friends in Bray Old Folks.

Reposing at Thomas Murphy and Sons Funeral Home, Boghall Road, Bray (A98R673) on Monday, 17th February, from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Tuesday morning at 10am walking weather permitting to The Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Putland Road, Bray arriving for Funeral Mass at 10.30am followed by private cremation.
