Peacefully, on Monday, 2nd August, after a great battle borne with dignity an amazing courage, whilst surrounded by her heartbroken family and in the exceptional care of The Galway Hospice. Pre-deceased by her husband John Joe and her parents Maureen and Tom. Loving mother to Jonathan and daughter-in-law Martha, sister to Sheila, Nuala, Tommy, John and Dermot. Remembered with love by her brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, adored nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many loyal friends.

A private funeral Mass for Maura will take place in St. Oliver Plunkett Church, Renmore, on Thursday, 5th August, at 12 noon. Burial, after Mass, in The New Cemetery, Bohermore. Please note all funeral arrangements will take place in accordance with current government guidelines on funerals and public gatherings.

A memorial Mass will be held at a later date. The family wish to thank most sincerely all our fantastic friends and neighbours, the staff at UCHG and The Galway Hospice for the love and care shown to Maura.
