Maura Kelly
(née Fennelly)

The death has occurred of Maura Kelly (née Fennelly), The Bleeding Horse, Athy, Co. Kildare and formerly, Saw Mills, Stradbally, Co. Laois. Peacefully surrounded by her family in the loving care of the staff at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise on the 26th January 2024. Predeceased by her husband Bertie, brother-in-law Michael, sister Beth (Buggie), her parents Elizabeth and Joseph.

Dearly loved and sadly missed by her sons James, Joe and Micháel, daughters Eilís and Marie, sister Anne (Knowles), sons-in-law Mark and William, daughters-in-law Sharon, Nicola and Una, grandchildren Niall, Liam, Aoibhín, Barry, Emma, David, Conor, Brian and Martha, great-grandchild Aurora, brothers-in-law Noel and Dinny, sisters-in-law Mary, Kathleen and Teresa, cousins, extended family, neighbours and her many friends.

May Maura Rest in Peace

Reposing at her residence (R14 VR04) from 4pm to 8pm on Sunday 28th January with recital of the Rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Monday in St Michael's Parish Church, Athy at 2pm. Interment to follow in Oakvale Cemetery, Stradbally.
