The death has occurred of Maura Lydon (nèe Considine), Portacarron, Oughterard, Co. Galway and formerly Leitrim, Cree, Co. Clare.
Maura passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff in Galway Hospice on Sunday, 29th December 2024. Predeceased by her beloved husband Gerry and her brother Pat Considine.
Maura will be sadly missed by her loving family - children Gearoid, Eliosha, Fergal, Darragh, and Myra. Daughters-in-law Filo, Aoife, and Hollie. Sons-in-law Raymond and Dan.
Her adored grandchildren Dylan, Roisin, Siobhan, Ryan, Tess, Maisy, Annie, Owen, Serena and Valentina.
Her sisters Breda, Ann, Assumpta, brother-in-law AJ, all her extended Lydon and Considine families, friends, neighbours and carers.

Reposing at her Home (H91N2KT) Oughterard, on Monday 30th of December from 2pm until 6pm.
Requiem Mass on Tuesday 31st December at 11am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception Oughterard.
Burial afterwards in Kilcummin Cemetery, Oughterard.
