Maureen Dowd (nee Cronin), Latnadrona, Crosserlough, Co. Cavan passed away peacefully on 1st December 2021 in Cavan General Hospital, in the loving care of her family and the Staff of Surgical 1. Predeceased by her husband Tom Dowd, her brothers Hugh P and Colm Cronin. Maureen will be sadly missed by her daughters Anna and Tina, her son in law Donal Briody and her grandchildren Lauren and Ellie, her brothers Sean, Tommy, Andy and Michael, brother in law Mick Dowd, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, all her relatives, friends and neighbours                                                                   

 MAY SHE REST IN PEACE

Reposing at Briody's Funeral Home, Kilnaleck, Thursday evening from  5-30pm. until 7-30pm. Removal from her home on Saturday morning to arrive St. Mary's Church Crosserlough for funeral Mass at 12 noon.  Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. In accordance with HSE, & government guidelines please no handshakes or hugs when sympathising with the family. Messages of sympathy may be left in the condolence section below. Friends and neighbours are welcome to stand along the route to the Church while following Social Distancing Rules. As a mark of respect Cronin's Ballinagh, will be closed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, reopening on Sunday 5th December.
