Maureen Dowd
(née Murtagh)
Maureen Dowd (nee Murtagh), Fortwilliam, Newtowncashel, Co. Longford, died peacefully at home, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her parents James and Margaret and her brother Tom.
Maureen will be sadly missed by her husband P.J., daughters Olive and Helen, son Patrick, sons in law Stuart and Adam, her adored grandsons Ben, Sam, Harry, Donnacha, Henry and Noah, her sister Brigid (BC Fitzsimons), brother Ambrose, brothers in law, sisters in law, niece, nephews and a wide circle of neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the family home, Fortwilliam, Newtowncashel (N39 CF44) on Tuesday, 13th June 2023, from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral cortege will leave the family home on Wednesday, 14th June, at 11:30am arriving at the Church of the Blessed Virgin, Newtowncashel, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Cashel Cemetery.
