Maureen O’Malley, (née Shaughnessy) - late of Chestnut Drive, Mullingar, and formerly Coolure, Coole, Co. Westmeath and Houndswood, Cross, Co. Mayo – March 29, 2025 (peacefully) in her 100th year in the tender care of the staff at Portiuncula Nursing Home, Multyfarnham.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Lawrence, dear daughter Mary, and all her 13 siblings, Annie, Bernie, Bridgie, Frank, Ina, John, Judy, Katie, Margaret, Martin, Mick, Patrick and Tommy.

Maureen will be sadly missed by her devoted sons Tommie, Christy, Michael, Gerard and Paul, her daughters-in-law Joan and Ursula, son-in-law John, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, extended family, relatives and friends.

MAY MAUREEN REST IN PEACE

Reposing at Gilsenans Funeral Home Mullingar (N91 K660) on Monday March 31st from 4.30 pm to 6.15 pm followed by Removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King arriving at 6.30 pm.
Funeral Mass on Tuesday April 1st at 11 am followed by burial in Taghmon Cemetery.
