The death has occurred of
Maureen Waldron
Maureen Waldron, formerly of Foxwood, Swords, Co. Dublin and Liscat, Knock, Co. Mayo, 7th July 2021, peacefully, at Brookvale Nursing Home, Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo. Beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Kathleen Waldron. Beloved sister of Bridie, William, Alo, and the late Joe, Christina, Paul, Peggy, and Nancy. Sister-in-law of Ann, Margaret, Milo, Tomás, Marie and Pat. Sadly missed by her loving sister and brothers, sisters and brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends.
After almost 40 years as a vision mixer in RTE, Maureen spent her well-deserved retirement golfing at the Island Golf Club and completing the Crosaire in double-quick (5) time until being overtaken by illness in her final years. She will be fondly remembered by her family and all who knew, worked with, golfed with, and cared for her.
Funeral will take place privately, at her own request.
