McCarthy (Killeenreendowney Avenue, Lower Friars Walk) On December 24th 2024, Ellen (Eily) (née O’Driscoll) passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family and in the tender care of Marlyn and the devoted staff of St. Joseph’s 1, St. Finbarr’s Hospital. Beloved wife of the recently deceased John, devoted mother of Joan (Power), Don, Catherine (Twohig), Aileen (Heaphy) and Mary (Griffin). Dearly loved granny of the late Daniel and dear mother-in-law of the late Thomas and Jim. Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, sons-in-law Paddy and Miley, daughter-in-law Patricia, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Sullivans Funeral Home, Turners Cross on Friday (27th) from 5.00pm until 6.00pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday (28th) at 10.00am in Church of the Assumption, Ballyphehane, funeral afterwards to St. Oliver’s Cemetery.
