The death has occurred of Michael Cahill, Deerpark, Virginia, Co.Cavan and formerly Clonkeefy, Oldcastle, Co.Meath, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital on Thursday 12 October 2017. Loving husband of Kathleen and loving father of Fintan, Sinead, Aodhgan and Niall. Deeply regretted by his wife, sons, daughter, son-in-law Saul, grandchildren, brothers, sisters and extended family and many friends.

Remains reposing at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieboro Rd, Virginia, on Friday from 4 o'clock until 8 o'clock. Rosary at 8 o'clock. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 11 o'clock in Mary Immaculate Church, Virginia with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Virginia Palliative care services c/o Matthews Funeral Directors.
