Michael Clarke, Ashville Lodge, Ashville, Dunleer. 6th December 2020. Michael was a devoted father who passed peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving children and family. Michael was born on October 23rd, 1952 and raised with his 7 siblings in Cardistown, Co. Louth by Michael and Rose Clarke. He attended college in Dublin and graduated as a civil engineer before marrying and having three children. Michael lived in New York, Nigeria and the UK before settling in Ardee to raise his family. He was a keen sports fan, loved to work with his hands, to travel and above all else he cherished his family.  

 

He will be sadly missed by his daughters Tracy and Gemma, his son Paul, his son-in-law Chris, daughter-in-law Leila, his brothers Barry and Peter, sisters Miriam, Florence, Deirdre, Laura and Ethna, his grandchildren Josh, Jayden, Amelia and Sadie, along with brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, extended relatives and friends.

 

May Michael Rest In Peace.

 

Due to Government restrictions Michael's Funeral Mass will be private for family and close friends with church numbers at 25. Funeral Mass can be viewed live on Wednesday, 9th, at 11am via www.youtube.com/user/finnegandvd.  Burial afterwards in Ballapousta Cemetery.

 

Michael's cortége will travel through Ardee on Wednesday morning at 10:15am en route to St. Malachy's Church, Reaghstown for those who would like to show their respects along the route in a safe and socially distanced manner.
