Very peacefully in the presence of his family and under the wonderful care of the staff in the Lexington Nursing Home. Predeceased by his beloved son Dominic. Michael will be very deeply missed by his beloved wife Lily, best friends together for fifty five years, his sons and daughters Michael, Paddy, Anita, Robbie, Liz, Nicky and Luke; cherished grandchildren Kate, Blue, Otis, Dominic, Liam, Aibhlinn, Lily and Joel; daughters-in-law Daphne, Jakki, Sumedha, Elizabeth and Ali, son-in-law John; his sister and brothers Rita, Martin and Peter, sister-in-law Lily, nieces nephews, relatives, friends, neighbours and lifelong friends from Dublin Port and Docks.

A private family funeral will take place in accordance with current government guidelines. A message of condolence may be placed in CONDOLENCES below this notice. Family flowers only please.
The Funeral Service for Michael may be viewed at 4pm on Thursday (June 3rd) through the following link: https://vimeo.com/event/153499. The funeral cortege will pass Michael’s residence on Thursday afternoon, approximately 3.30pm.
The family would like to extend a special note of thanks to the staff in St James’ Hospital who took great care of Michael during his time with them.
