Michael Heeney

The death has occurred at his home, following a short illness, bravely borne of Michael Heeney, Dunwiley, Stranorlar and formerly Heeney's Bar and Restaurant, Ballybofey. Beloved husband of Bernie and much loved father of Rachael, Michelle and Meghan, dearly loved son of Bridget, cherished brother of Patrick, Aidan, Martina, Eugene, Terence, John and Teresa. Very deeply regretted and sadly missed by his wife, daughters, mother, brothers, sisters, sons-in-law, grandchildren Finn, Ailidh and Mollai, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Remains are reposing at his late residence. Funeral leaving his home on Saturday, October 5th, at 10.30 a.m. for Requiem Mass in the Church Of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar at 11 a.m. Interment afterwards in Drumboe Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers, if so desired, to the Oncology Ward, Beacon Hospital, Sandyford, Dublin care of any family member.
