Michael HOPKINS

MICHAEL HOPKINS (retired teacher) Quarry Springs, Convent Road, Roscommon Town and formerly Felton, Boyle, Co Roscommon. (Peacefully), on his 99th birthday, on September 15th, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

He is predeceased by his parents Peter and Mary, sisters Margaret, Kathleen and Una and his brothers Peter, Andrew and John.

He will be very sadly missed by his sister-in-law Patricia Hopkins, his nieces and nephews - Mary, Ann, John, Gerard and Ciaran McNamara, Mary and Carmel Hopkins, Margaret Kinsella and John and Andrew Hopkins, extended family, wonderful neighbours and friends.

May Michael Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Wednesday evening from 4.30 o’c until 6 o’c followed by removal to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon. Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in Assylinn Cemetery, Boyle.
