The death has occurred of Michael J Furey of Sarasota, Florida, U.S.A., and late of Shanaghy, Ballina. Peacefully, at his residence in Sarasota, Florida, surrounded by his family. Michael J, beloved husband of Marie, for 63 years, Michael will be remembered with love, and sadly missed by his sister Celia, brother Frank, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at McGowans Funeral Home, Ballina, on Tuesday from 5.30pm to 7pm. Removal from residence on Thursday morning at 11am to arrive to St. Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina, for 11.30am Requiem Mass, followed by burial in Leigue Cemetery.
