Michael Kavanagh (better known as Mick)

The death has occurred unexpectedly of Michael Kavanagh (better known as Mick) McHale Road, Castlebar, Co. Mayo and formerly of Lissadell Drive, Drimnagh, Dublin 12 on 12th November 2024, in St. John’s Unit, Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar.

He will be sadly missed by his loving family - his heartbroken partner Maura Flynn-Walsh, his children, his step-children, grandchildren, sisters, brothers-in-law, uncles, aunts, neighbours, cousins, relatives and many friends.

Requiescat in peace.

Michael will repose in Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar F23HT38 on Friday 15th November, from 6.00pm with Removal at 8.00pm to The Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar, arriving at 8.30pm. Funeral Mass at 11.30am on Saturday 16th in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar. Afterwards, Michael will be laid to rest in the Old Cemetery, Westport Road, Castlebar.

The Funeral Mass will be live-streamed on www.churchtv.ie/castlebar or it can be listened to in Castlebar on the Castlebar Parish Radio 105.3fm.
