Michael Mannion

Michael passed peacefully from this life on Thursday, 22nd April 2021, in the care of Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe. Predeceased by his parents Kathleen and Murty. Deeply missed by his loving wife Nellie, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family, neighbours and friends.

In keeping with HSE, NPHET and Public Health guidelines, attendance at funerals is limited. Please respect the privacy of the family during this difficult time. A private Mass will be celebrated for the repose of Michael’s soul with immediate family only on Sunday 25th April, at 10:30am in St. Brigid's Church, Portumna. For those who would have liked to have attended the Mass, but cannot in the current restrictions, Michael’s Mass can be viewed online by clicking on MICHAEL’S FUNERAL. Interment will follow immediately after in Calvary Cemetery.

Michael’s cortége will leave his home at 10am to make its way to St. Brigid's Church, Portumna. Family and friends are invited if they wish to stand at their homes or line the route as a mark of support to the family. Please maintain the respect of social distance for each other as directed by HSE and Public Health.
