Michael (Mick) Grealish

(Corrib Park, Newcastle and and formerly Waterlane, Bohermore)

On the 8th April, Mick passed away at home in the loving care of his devoted wife Maureen.  A dearly loved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and wonderful friend to so many. Pre-deceased by his parents Michael and Winifred, brothers Patrick, Tom and John and sisters Oonagh and Bridie.  May they be reunited again.

Deeply mourned by Maureen and their children, Keith, Eleanor and Michael (Mickey), daughters-in-law Maureen and Trish and son-in-law Seánie, his adored grandchildren Lucy and Will, Danielle and Tom, sisters Judy and Mary (U.S.A.), Helen, Peggy and Anne, brother Martin, brothers-in-law, nephews and nieces, the extended family, neighbours, retired colleagues, many good friends including Tom McGrath, 'Our Ladies Boy’s Club RFC'., 'Connacht Rugby',' Galway Rowing Club', his Wednesday morning coffee crew, the islanders on Inishbofin, Inis Mór,  Inis Meáin and Inis Oírr.

A private family funeral will be celebrated for Mick on Monday, 12th April, 2021.  Current restrictions allow for 10 people in attendance within the church, outside the church door and at the cemetery.  

Requiem Mass at 12 noon at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Seamus Quirke Road.  Funeral after Mass to the new cemetery, Bohermore via Waterlane. Livestream link for Mass:
