January 26th 2024. After battling a long illness, Michael died peacefully, surrounded by his family, in the care of the staff of St.Vincent's Private Hospital, Dublin. Michael is sadly missed by his heartbroken parents Michael (Mickey) and Nora, brothers Derry, Frank, Conor and James, sister-in-law Gena, nieces, nephew, relatives, colleagues and a large circle of friends.

Removal to St. Mary’s Church, Carrick on Shannon, for 6pm on Monday, 29th of January for Funeral Mass at 12 noon on Tuesday the 30th of January. Burial afterwards in Drumlion Cemetery, Co. Roscommon. Funeral Mass will be streamed live on the following link Michael's Funeral Mass
