Michael Moore

The death has occurred of Michael Moore – Auburn Terrace, Mullingar, Co Westmeath and late of Newport, Co Mayo – December 30, 2024 (peacefully) in the company of his loving wife and family and in the tender care of the staff at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar. Predeceased by his beloved son Michael and his brother Oliver.

Michael will be very sadly missed and forever remembered by his loving wife and lifelong friend Margaret (Peg), son Carl, daughters Susanne and Moira, son-in-law Michael Brady (Newport), his cherished grandchildren Jennifer, Christopher, Jessica and Vanessa, sister Therina, brothers Cyril, Sammy and Adrian, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, good neighbours and many friends. Remembering also the deceased members of the Moore and Kelly families.

Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home (N91 K660) on Thursday January 2nd from 4.30 pm to 6 pm followed by Removal to St Paul’s Church, Delvin Road, Mullingar arriving at 6.30 pm. Michael’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday January 3rd at 11 am followed by burial in Ballyglass Cemetery. The Mass may be viewed on the live webcam at www.mullingarparish.ie (St Paul’s).
