Michael Morris

(formerly Newcastle, Athenry). Michael passed away peacefully after a long illness, bravely borne in the excellent care of Galway Hospice, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Catherine and by his brothers Willie, John, Peter, Paddy and by his sisters Molly, Maggie and Bridget.

Beloved husband of Veronica and dearly loved father to Seán, Tommy, Robert and Elizabeth and father-in-law to Dareena and Eoin.

Sadly missed by his heartbroken family, his adoring grandchildren Leah, Michael, Philip, Adam, Ethan, Emily, William, Gemma, Mollie and David, brother Tony, sisters Kathleen, Teresa and Annie, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, many friends and great neighbours.

Reposing at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91V1K8) on Saturday, 9th April, from 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Michael in St. Patrick's Church, Forster Street at 2.00 p.m. on Sunday, 10th April. Funeral after Mass to the New Cemetery, Athenry. The funeral Mass will not be livestreamed. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Galway Hospice and Croí.
