O’BRIEN; “Swallow Inn” Main Street, Borrisokane, Co. Tipperary, formerly of the Tavern Bar, Main Street, Cappoquin, Co. Waterford and Illaunmeen, Cullen, Co. Tipperary. On 9th October 2024, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the tender and loving care of the Nursing Staff at Padre Pio Rest Home, Cappoquin, Michael, loving husband of the late Rose (Nee Brannigan), son of the late Patrick and Margaret, brother of the late John, Donie, Mary and Winnie.

Sadly missed by his loving sons Gerry and Simon, daughters Josephine Walsh and Rose Kenneally, brothers Paddy, Johnny and Willie, sisters Peggy, Kay, Teresa, Esther, Breda, Bernadette, Josephine, Lena and Alice, daughters-in-law Eileen and Hersh, sons-in-law Michael Walsh and Thomas Kenneally, grandchildren Damien, Rachael, Danny, Michelle, David, Regina, TJ, Kevin and Chloe, great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and his many friends in Borrisokane, especially good friend Tom Hayes.

Funeral Mass on Saturday morning 12th October at 11.30am

in St. Patrick’s Church, Cullen, Co. Tipperary.

Followed by burial to Cullen Cemetery.
