Michael O'Connell

Michael passed away peacefully in the tender and loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff at the Mercy University Hospital, Cork on Wednesday, February 1st, 2023.

Mourned by his heartbroken wife and best friend Sheila (née O'Callaghan), his children Declan, Shane, Michelle and Lee, daughters-in-law Jess and Jackie, son-in-law James, his beloved grandchildren Charlie, Liam and Jamie.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Mary, sister Margaret and brothers Brendan and Joseph.

Sadly mourned by his brothers and sisters Tim, Pat, Ger, Tony, Marie (Horan), Paul and Carmel (Leahy), mother-in-law Kathleen, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, a large number of nephews and nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, extended family, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

May Michael Rest in Peace

Reposing in O'Keeffe's Funeral Home, Bowling Green, Mallow (P51 XE2T) on Thursday evening from 6:00pm to 7:30pm followed by Reception into St. Mary's Church, Mallow.

Requiem Mass on Friday at 11:30am, after which Michael will be laid to rest in St. Gobnait's Cemetery.
