Michael Whelan

Peacefully after a short illness in Limerick Regional Hopital. Reunited after 3 months with his beloved wife May (Vaughan). Predeceased by his parents Bill and Nance, sister Maureen and brothers Gus and Billy. Dearly loved father of Anne, Máire, Ger and Gus. Michael will be sadly missed by his 11 Cooney, Neylon and Whelan grandchildren. Deeply regretted by his loving brother Des, nieces, nephews, in-laws, kind neighbours and friends and the farming community.

Reposing at Máire and Pat Neylon's residence in Toonagh on Tuesday, 28th September, from 5PM to 8PM for family and friends. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am in St. Tola's Church, Dysart O'Dea with burial afterwards in Drumcliffe Cemetery, Ennis.

Please maintain and respect social distance for each other as directed by HSE and Public Health  guidelines.  A message of sympathy may be left for the family in the condolence section below. Family flowers only please.
