Myra LEYDON

The death has occurred of Myra Leydon, Ballyfarnon, Boyle, Co Roscommon, November 9th 2023 (peacefully, in her 92nd year) in the loving care of the staff at Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, Longford, and in the presence of her loving family.

Pre-deceased by her husband Gus, son-in-law Nigel and sister Patricia (Phelan).

Much loved mother of Patrick (Paddy), Gerard (Gerry), Fiona (Egan), Colette and Orla. Myra will also be dearly missed by her daughters-in-law Susan and Catriona, son-in-law James, grandchildren Sinéad, Connor, Kerri, Aoife, Jordan, Seán and Aisling, nephews, nieces, relatives, and a wide circle of friends.

May Myra’s gentle soul rest in peace

Reposing at her home on Friday evening (November 10th) from 4pm until 8pm. Removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyfarnon, on Saturday morning, arriving for celebration of Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in Kilmactranny Cemetery.

The family would like to sincerely thank and acknowledge the excellent care given to Myra by the wonderful staff of Laurel lodge Nursing Home.
