The death has occurred of
Ned (Edward) Gleeson
Ned (Edward) Gleeson of Rathdown Park, Greystones, Co. Wicklow, formerly Ballyheen, Templemore, Co. Tipperary. February 12th 2024 slipped away peacefully in the exceptional care of Liz, Pat, Mary, Evelyn & the wonderful team at Eyrefield Manor Nursing Home, while surrounded by his devoted son & daughter Jim & Evelyn and dear friend Anne at his bedside. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (née Fleming). Remembered with love by his family: cherished son & daughter Jim & Evelyn whom he loved & was so loved in return, his adored sister Julia, daughter-in-law Jo, son-in-law Nick, grandson Tom, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, carers & circle of friends.
Evening prayer at 6pm in the Holy Rosary Church, Greystones, Co. Wicklow on Thursday February 15th. Funeral Mass on Friday morning February 16th at 10am, after which Ned will be laid to rest with his beloved Margaret in Glenkeen Cemetery, Borrisoleigh, Co. Tipperary. Arriving at 1.30pm approximately.
