The death has occurred of
Nina Ahern
AHERN (College Grove, Clonakilty and Edinburgh, Scotland): on April 5th 2022 at Desert, Clonakilty. With sadness Julie, Liam, Seán and Nina announce the peaceful passing of mother Nina in the loving care of her family and daughter-in-law Mary Ahern, Derry, and son-in-law Cionnaith Ó Súilleabháin. Predeceased by her loving husband Liam (Clonakilty Town Clerk 1956-1985) and son Miċeál. Grandmother of Gráinne, Treasa, Liam, Seán, Nina-Cáit, Liam, Micheál Jnr., Kathryn, Maeve, Eimear and Máire. Sadly missed by her 13 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, extended family, and good friends and neighbours.
Our deepest gratitude to the wonderful doctors and carers of the HSE, Marymount Palliative Care, and team members of Clonakilty Medical Clinic.
A private funeral has taken place by request of the late Mrs. Nina Ahern.
Donations in lieu of flowers to Marymount Hospice.
