Formerly of Longford town, Co. Longford.

On 21 February 2024, Nora died unexpectedly at University Hospital Galway.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Jack, her sisters Ruth, Lou and Vera and her brothers Tom and Noel.

Deeply mourned and very sadly missed by her loving daughters Iris and Mary, her goddaughter Mary, her sister Beatrice, son-in-law Robert, grandsons Danny and Conor, nieces, nephews, relatives and her many, many neighbours and friends.

Nora will repose in St. Anthony’s Room, within the Church of St. John the Apostle, Knocknacarra, Galway on Monday 26 February, 2024 from 5.30 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. Removal after to the church. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Nora on Tuesday 27 February at 12 noon. Following Mass, she will be laid to rest with her late husband Jack in Rahoon Cemetery.
