The death has occurred of Nora Meaney (née O’Neill),  peacefully in Mowlam nursing home, Kilrush, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her devoted husband John, her two grandsons Alex and Sam and her granddaughter Gráinne. Sadly missed by her loving family, daughters Mary Teresa (Terri Golden) and Pauline (Hickey), sons Seán, Frankie and Declan, son-in-law Pat, daughters-in-law Carmel, Máirin and Lorraine, her adored grandchildren David, Pádraig, Aisling, Katie, Cian, Enya, Chantelle, Clara, Scott and Bláthnaid. Her cherished brother Tom, sisters Kitty, Tess and Christina, nieces and nephews and all other relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home in Cree village (V15 AK24) on Thursday 12th January from 4pm-7pm.

Funeral mass on Friday 13th January at 12 noon with burial at Knocknahilla cemetery.

As a mark of respect, Meaney’s Foodstore and Deli will be closed all day Friday.
