Olive O'CONNELL
(née Long)
Olive O’Connell (née Long) of Bellevue House, Castledermot, Co Kildare and formerly of Moyle Big, Kellistown, Co Carlow and Tralee, Co Kerry, passed away peacefully, on September 28th, 2024, at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.
Beloved wife of Desmond, much loved mother of Adrian and Bryan, adored grandmother of Daniel and cherished sister of Brenda, Patsi and the late Noela and Joe.
She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, grandchild, sisters, Bryan’s partner Katherine, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
May Olive’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace
Reposing at Carpenter Bros. Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq (Eircode R93 C863) from 5pm on Tuesday, October 1st, concluding with Prayers at 7.30pm that evening. Removal from there on Wednesday at 10.30am to The Holy Family Church, Askea, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am.
A private cremation will take place at a later date.
