Olive Whelan

Olive Whelan of Palmerstown, Dublin passed peacefully in her sleep on Saturday March 27th. Beloved wife of the late Ambrose and sister of the late Joan. She will be deeply missed by her children Adrienne, Eimear, Amanda & Edwin, their spouses & partners Gerard, Victor, Peter & Kera, and her grandchildren Jason, Robyn, Aoibheann & Lara. Olive will also be sadly missed by her siblings Evelyn, Bri, Kay, Tommy, Madge, Eileen, Paul & Oonagh and all her extended family & friends.

Due to current government restrictions a small private funeral will be held. We know that there are many people who would love to pay their final respects in person, but as this is not possible at present the funeral service and subsequent cremation will be streamed live and can be viewed on Monday, 5th April, at 10'oc on the following link:

Olives' funeral cortége will pass by her residence on Monday morning at 9.40'oc if you would like to line the street to pay your respects to her family while maintaining social distancing guidelines.
