Orla died peacefully, at 80 years old, after a short illness and under the care of Our Lady's Hospice, Blackrock.

Orla was predeceased by her husband Brian and daughter Noreen. She will be dearly missed by her children Susan, John, Anne and Rory, her daughters-in-law Sarah and Holly, her grandchildren Connor, Alice, Alex, Abi and Annabel, her twin brother Rory, her siblings Barbara, Fionnuala, Deirdre, Jim, Maureen, Harry, Eileen, Roisin and Attracta, her extended family and many friends and neighbours

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum, on Wednesday afternoon (19th June) from 3pm, prior to her Removal to the Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion arriving at 5pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday morning (20th June) at 10am which can be viewed live on https://www.mountmerrionparish.ie/webcam/. Orla’s family would like to thank the dedicated staff at St Vincent's University Hospital and the Hospice for their attentiveness and consideration. Family flowers only please, donations, in lieu, to Our Lady's Hospice or the Irish Cancer Society.
