Paddy Byrne

The death has occurred Paddy Byrne, Ballygawley, Co. Sligo, late of Malahide and Ballygriffin, Co Dublin. Paddy, cherished husband of Florrie, has passed, peacefully, at his daughter’s residence, following a short illness, surrounded by his family.

Much loved father of Jacinta, David and Niall. Sadly missed by his son in law Finbarr, daughters in law Pauline and Patricia. Brother to Ann and the late Molly. Much loved grandad to Michael, Jenny, Megan, Ciaran, Donal, Conor, Aidan and great-grandad to Mila, Tom and Amelia. He will be greatly missed by his extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at his residence on Sunday from 4pm to 6pm. Remains arriving at Church of The Assumption, Sooey, on Monday for funeral Mass at 1pm with burial afterwards in St Nathy’s Cemetery, Collooney, Co Sligo. 

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, house and funeral Mass will be private to family and close friends. Family flowers only, donations, in lieu, if so desired, to The Palliative Care Unit, Mayo.
