Paddy Devine

Formerly of Cremully, Castlecoote, Co. Roscommon

It is with sadness that Paddy's family share the news of his death after a very brief illness at Galway University Hospital on Wednesday, 3 January, 2024. Beloved husband of Mary and much loved father of Ann Marie, Liam, Eamonn and the late P.J. Pre-deceased by his dearly loved son P.J. in May, 2018 and by his brother Christy. Deeply mourned by his wife, daughter and sons, son-in-law Colm Lynch, brother Liam (Very Rev. Liam Canon Devine, PE. Retired). Sadly missed also by the Kilmartin, Devine and Shaughnessy families, neighbours and friends. Paddy was a carpenter by trade and there are many objects and pieces created by Paddy that will always remind the family of his skills and talent. His work was admired by many.

He will Repose at the O' Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91V1K8) on Monday, 8 January, from 4.00 p.m. with Removal at 6.00 p.m. to St. Mary's Church, The Claddagh. Live streaming link below. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon on Tuesday, 9 January, 2024 and following Mass he will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery.
