Bhásaigh Paddy Loftus, (Foirnis, Leitir Mealláin, Co. na Gaillimhe), nó Paddy Mhaidhc Thaidhg mar a b'fhearr aithne air,  go suaimhneach in Ospidéal Ollscoile na Gaillimhe.

 

Go brónach ina dhiaidh tá a chlann Elizabeth, Patrick, Michael, Willie agus Agnes. Aon duine dhéag garchlann agus a gclann siúd. Ceathrar deartháireacha, ceathrar deirfiúireacha, nianna, neachtanna agus gaolta eile.

 

Beidh sé á thórramh san Ionad in aice le Séipéal Leitir Móir, Dé hAoine 4ú Márta ón 6.00 -7.30i.n. Léifear Aifreann na Sochraide ag a 11r.n Dé Satharn, 5ú Márta i Séipéal Réalt na Mara i Leitir Mealláin. Cuirfear i ndiaidh an aifrinn é i Reilig Chuigéil.

 

Bláthanna ón gclann amháin. Síntiús más mian don Chumann Tárrthála.

 

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

 

The death has occurred of Paddy Loftus, Furnish, Lettermullen, Co Galway on Wednesday 2 March. He died peacefully in the wonderful care of the doctors, nurses and staff of St Anne's Ward University Hospital Galway. He is deeply missed by his sons Patrick, Michael, Willie, daughters Elizabeth and Agnes, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
 
Paddy will be reposing at Lettermore church on Friday 4 March from 5.30 - 7.30 pm. Funeral Mass will take place at The Star of the Sea Church Lettermullen at 11.00 am Saturday 5 March and burial afterwards at Cuigeal Cemetery
 
Donations if desired to Irish Lifeboat Association.
