The death has occurred of Pat McCarthy of Rathmeel Lawns, Ballina & formerly of Kenmare, Co. Kerry.

Peacefully at the Mayo Hospice, Castlebar, surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved son of the late Paddy & Mary (Co. Kerry) & brother of the late Bill & Mary.

Pat, beloved husband of Betty & loving father of Paul, Ross, Jonathon, Kelley & Niamh.

Sadly, missed by his wife, sons, daughters, sons-in-law David Treacy & Adam Ellwood, Paul’s partner Daniella, Ross’s Partner Georgina, beloved grandchildren Donnacha, Cormac, Karen, Aoife, Aedan & Lottie, brother John (Kerry), sisters Peg O’Sullivan (Kerry) & Joan O’Brien (Kerry), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at McGowan's Funeral Home, Ballina (Eircode F26 V274) on Tuesday evening from 7pm until 8:30pm.

Funeral will arrive to St. Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina, on Wednesday morning for Mass of the Resurrection at 11.30am followed by burial in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.
