Pat Sheerin

Pat Sheerin, Kilnahinch, Moate and formerly Ballydrown, Castledaly, Co. Westmeath, March 14th passed away suddenly, but peacefully, in the wonderful care of the ICU staff at the Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore, pre-deceased by his loving wife Mary (nee McLoughlin) two months ago, brother Joe. Pat will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughter Patricia Rabbitte, (Moate), son Joe (Castledaly), grandchildren Paddy, Catherine, Adrian Jnr, Aaron, Ellen, James, Nicole, Anna, Eliza Jane, Paddy and Bobby, son-in-law Adrian, daughter-in-law Dolores, brothers Michael, Dan, Connie and Kevin, sisters Bridie (Hamm), Catherine (Connolly), Theresa (Muldoon) and Noeleen (Ryan), sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.

In keeping with current government guidelines regarding public gatherings, a private funeral will take place for Pat on Friday at 2pm in The Carmelite Church, Moate, with burial afterwards in Kilcleagh Cemetery, Castledaly. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot do so, may leave a message of “condolence” section below.
