The death has occurred of Patricia Beggan, née Fitzhugh, Smutternagh, Knockvicar, Co. Roscommon, May 28th 2023. Peacefully, at North West Hospice, Sligo, surrounded by her devoted husband and in the tender care of the nurses and staff.
Pre-deceased by her parents Peter and Kathleen, sister Marian, sister-in-law Carol and nephew David.
Patricia will be deeply missed by her beloved husband Colin, sons Ciaran and Dermot, daughters-in-law Grace and Frances, grandchildren Mairéad, Bronwyn, Dylan and Alex, sisters Ann, Phyllis and Geraldine, brothers Raymond and Peter, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and her many friends.
May her gentle soul rest in peace
Patricia will repose at her home on Monday evening (May 29th 2023) from 5pm until 8pm. Removal from her home on Tuesday morning to St. Teresa’s Church, Corrigeenroe, to arrive for Mass of Christian Burial at 10am, followed by Cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Dublin, on Tuesday afternoon at 13.45.
No flowers please, donations in lieu, if desired, to the North West Hospice, Sligo. Those who would have liked to attend but cannot now do so, please leave a message in the condolence section below.
