Patricia Ward (née Ryan) of Maple Drive, Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow (formerly of Limerick) passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on the 5th January, 2021. Beloved wife of Tom, much loved mother of Michael, John and Tony, sadly missed by her daughters-in-law Mary, Áine and Berna, grandchildren Emma & David, Jennifer & Bert, Rachael and Cathy, Tom & Esi, Eleanor & Ambrose, David and Laura, great-grandchildren Jamie, Eoin, Kate, Oliver and Jack. Also mourned by brothers and sisters, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, kind neighbours and friends.

Due to current restrictions on public gatherings, house is strictly private. Removal from Patricia’s home on Thursday, 7th January, to arrive at Newlands Cross Crematorium for private cremation at 12 noon. For people who wish to pay their respects, Patricia’s funeral procession will travel up the Royal Oak Road at 10am. Please observe social distancing guidelines. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society or The Carlow Kilkenny Home Care Team. 

The family offer their heartfelt thanks to the nurses and doctors in St. Vincent’s Hospital, The Irish Cancer Society, The Carlow Kilkenny Home Care Team and neighbours and friends who looked after Patricia so well.
