Patrick Brereton
BRERETON (Cork): On March 29th, 2024; peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the tender and loving care of the staff at St. Oliver’s Rehabilitation Unit, St. Finbarr’s Hospital. PATRICK (PADDY) (“THE SOLDIER”), Killala Gardens, Knocknaheeny. Beloved husband and best friend of Christine and loving father to Mary, Jacqueline, Majella, Caroline, Tony, Olivia, Fiona and the late Aidan. Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother, sisters, sons-in-law, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge from Monday, 1st April. Visitation same evening from 5.00pm-6.00pm with prayers at 5.45pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday, 2nd April, in St. Mary’s on the Hill Church, Knocknaheeny at 11.00am. Funeral afterwards to St Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully. House private please. Family flowers only.
