Patrick Donohue

The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Donohue, Tuam Road, Mountbellew, Galway and formerly of Ballinagh, Cavan.

Paddy passed away (unexpectedly) on the 30th of January 2024, at home, with his wife Colette at his side, following a short illness, bravely borne.

Predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Maisie, and his nephew Keith.

Paddy will be sadly missed by his devoted wife Colette (nee Haverty), sister Mary (Owens), nephews Shane and Tommy, brother-in-law Mervyn, relatives, extended Haverty family and a wide circle of neighbours and friends.

Paddy will repose at the Franciscan College Oratory, Mountbellew (H53 WE00) on Thursday, 1st February, from 6pm to 8pm, followed by removal to St. Mary’s Church, Mountbellew (H53 Y9K4). Requiem Mass on Friday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Mountbellew.
