Patrick GAFFNEY

PATRICK GAFFNEY (retired member of An Garda Siochana) Golf Links Road, Roscommon Town and formerly of Ballyhaunis, Co Mayo and Ballinagare, Co Roscommon. September 14th, 2024, (Peacefully), surrounded by his loving family, in the care of the staff at the Roscommon Hospice. Devoted husband of Frances and much loved Dad to Lorraine, Ruth and Trish. He will be forever missed by his family, sons-in-law Jerh O’Connor, Mel Burke and Alan Grady. His adored grandchildren Brian, Hugh, Gregory, Malachi, Laurence, Vincent, Martha and Maud. Nieces Caroline and Martina, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, neighbours and friends.

He is predeceased by his parents Margaret and Laurence, sister Mary and nephew John.

May He Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Sunday from 4 o’c until 6 o’c. Removal from his home on Monday morning arriving to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in Drummin Cemetery, Ballinagare.
