PJ (Paddy Joe) passed peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff Portiuncula hospital Ballinasloe, Co. Galway on Sunday 18th July 2021.

(Predeceased by his loving wife Pauline)

PJ will be sadly missed by his loving children Valerie, Michelle, Elaine, David and Paul, grandchildren Ella, James, Daire, Eoghan, Isabel, Cormac, Ailbhe, Lauren and Sophie, sons-in-law Anthony, John and Paul, daughters-in-law Alice and Emma, his partner Maura, sisters Mary Jo and Dympna, brothers Gerry, Brendan and predeceased by Alfie, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, cousins, neighbours, and his many friends.

PJ’s funeral cortege will arrive at St Brendan’s Cathedral Loughrea on Wednesday July 21st for Requiem Mass at 12.30 o’clock followed by burial in Clostoken Cemetery.

The above arrangements will take place in accordance with current Government and HSE guidelines on public gatherings.

PJ’s friends wishing to support the Callanan family at this sad time may do so and please adhere to Government Guidelines on social distancing if standing along the route of the funeral cortege from Kilboy’s Funeral Home to St. Brendan’s Cathedral, Loughrea, Co. Galway.

The Callanan family would like to express their sincere thanks to all their extended family, neighbours, friends for all their kindness, help and support at this very sad time.
