Patrick Joseph (Paddy Joe) Morrissey
MORRISSEY (Hartland’s Avenue, The Lough, Cork City and Glounakeel, Rockchapel, Co. Cork): On August 10th 2023, peacefully, in the presence of his loving family and in the loving care of doctors, nurses and staff of St. Christopher’s Ward, Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, PATRICK JOSEPH (Paddy Joe), (late of Henry Ford & Son Ltd and St. Finbarr’s Indoor Bowls Club), dearly beloved husband of the late Sheila (née O’ Donnell) and much loved father of Mary (Fowler), John, Ann (Horgan), Noreen (Kelly) and Bernadette, cherished grandfather of Emily, Jack, Alex, Hannah and Jade, dear son of the late John & Nora Morrissey.
Sadly, missed by his loving family, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, neighbours and a wide circle of friends and his faithful companion Rover.
Reposing in the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. (T12 KX08) on Sunday (August 13th) from 4.00pm to 5.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Monday (August 14th) in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, The Lough
Which will be live streamed
Funeral afterwards to St. Oliver’s Cemetery, Model Farm Road.
