PATRICK O'DONOGHUE

O'DONOGHUE (Late of The Paddock, Church Cross,  Skibbereen). On January 31st, 2021, in his 91st year, peacefully, in the excellent care of Jessily, nurses and staff of Skibbereen Residential Care Centre. PATRICK (PAT), beloved husband of Mary (nee Coughlan) and loving father of Margaret, Paddy, Denis and Séan, brother of the late Jerry , John and Liz and uncle of the late Tony, Pat and John.  Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, brother Michael, sister-in-law Joyce, brother-in-law Donal Coughlan, grandchildren Kevin, Caitríona, Adrian and Louise, daughters-in-law Geraldine and Mary, Séan's partner Geraldine, Kevin's fiancée Claire, Adrian's partner Ciara, nephew, nieces, godchildren, relatives, his many great neighbours and friends, and all those who visited Patrick whilst a resident in the Skibbereen Residential Care Centre. Special thanks to the wonderful nursing and care staff at SRCC, also to Dr.Gerard O'Shaughnessy, Dr.Helen Quirke and all at Skibbereen Medical Centre,  to the home care Nancy Swanton and Nurse Claire O'Sullivan, for their care and kindness to Patrick.

Due to current restrictions regarding public gatherings, the funeral will be strictly private for close family members. The O'Donoghue family would like to thank you for your understanding at this time. Messages of sympathy can be left on the Condolence link below.

Patrick's funeral cortège will leave his residence on Monday, February 1st at 11.15am, proceeding to St. Comghall's Church, Lisheen for a private Requiem Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Please adhere to Government Guidelines on social distancing if standing along the route.
