The death has occurred of Patrick (Packie) Lambe, Formill, Shantonagh, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, Friday April 24th, peacefully, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Mary-Anne, brother Eugene, sister Rosaleen Monaghan and grandson Eoin O'Neill.  Packie, sadly missed and remembered with love by his devoted wife Mary, daughters Mary, Margaret, Rose and Patricia, sons Peter, James and Philip, sons in-law Martin, Pj, Derek and Martin, daughters in-law Geraldine, Joanne and Emma, sisters Minnie Marron and Margaret Sullivan, brother in-law Phil Ward and his wife Mary, his 32 cherished grandchildren and his great-grandson, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and many friends and neighbours.

 

May Packie's Gentle Soul Rest In Eternal Peace

 

Burial will take place privately, in line with the guidelines issued by the government and H.S.E, with a Funeral Mass celebrated at a later stage.

 

Please note Packie's funeral cortege will travel from his residence on Sunday, leaving at 11.15am, travelling to Shantonagh, Sacred Heart Church, Lough Egish, Larkins Cross, left at Mc Eneaney cross, Kilkitt cross and through his late residence in Formil and continuing onto St Patrick's Cemetery Bawn for burial.

The family would like to express Heartfelt thanks and deep appreciation for the love and care bestowed on Packie by all the health professionals that cared for him at home. Family flowers only, donations, in lieu, to
Monaghan Community Palliative Care Service c/o Wards Funeral Home or any family member. For those who cannot attend funeral and burial, please leave a message for the family in the condolence section below. Thank you very much for your consideration and cooperation at this difficult time.
