The death has occurred of
PATRICK (Paddy) CODY
PATRICK CODY (Paddy) Retired BQMS, Irish Defence Forces (late of Fr. Murphy Square, Kilkenny and The Curragh Camp, Co. Kildare and Dungourney, Co. Cork). Paddy died peacefully on January 29th 2024 in the loving care of the wonderful staff at Youghal & District Nursing Home, Gortroe, Co. Cork.
Paddy will be dearly missed by his loving brothers Liam in Florida and Anthony (Tony) in Dungourney, Co. Cork, sisters-in-law Margaret and Monica, his nephew John, nieces Fiona and Antoinette, grandnephews and grandnieces, relatives, his many friends and neighbours and all of his army colleagues.
Paddy is predeceased by his parents William and Margaret.
May Paddy Rest In Peace.
Paddy’s family would like to especially acknowledge the care and kindness shown to him by all the staff at Youghal & District Nursing Home.
Paddy will repose in Hyde’s Funeral Home, Drury’s Avenue Midleton on Tuesday 30th from 7.30pm - 845pm.
Reception into St. Mary’s Cathedral, Kilkenny on Wednesday 31st for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Kieran’s Cemetery, Kilkenny.
