The death has occurred of
Patrick (Paddy) Melia
On 19th December 2023, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Joseph’s Ward, and the Palliative Care Team at the Mater Hospital. Paddy, beloved husband of the late Rose, much loved father of Brendan, Sandra, Marion, Geraldine, Patrick and David.
He will be sadly missed by his family, daughters-in-law Yvonne, Patricia and Laura, sons-in-law Tom and Pat, grandchildren Mark, Katie, Karl, Sarah, Ciara, Thomas, Sarah Joy, Steven, Glen, Sophie, Leah and Abbie, great-grandchildren James, Cora, Thady, Caóimhe, Oisín, Isabelle, Halle, Ryan, Robyn and Amelia, brother Gerry (Australia), nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, carers and friends.

Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Ballygall Road West on Wednesday (27th December) from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral on Thursday to Our Mother of Divine Grace Church, Ballygall Road East, arriving for 10am Requiem Mass. Cremation afterwards in Glasnevin Crematorium.
Family flowers only please. Donations, in lieu, to the Mater Hospital Foundation.
