The death has occurred of
Patrick (Paddy) O'Connell
O’Connell Tonrevagh, Castlerea and formerly of Behy, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon. August 24th 2022 (peacefully) at Mayo University Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Pre-deceased by his brother Michael. Patrick (Paddy), loving husband of Mary and father of Aileen (Leixlip), Aisling (Edenderry), Alan (Castlerea) and Aoife (Melbourne). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, his son and daughters, his adored grandchildren Jack, Cormac, Ryan, Emma and Noah. Paddy’s brother John (Behy, Castlerea), sisters Mary (Loughrea) and Rita (Corlis, Castlerea). Sons-in-law Wynne and Joe, daughter-in-law Aoife. Brother-in-law Norman and sister-in-law Lena. Extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McDonagh’s Funeral Home Castlerea on Friday evening from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock (walk through only please – no handshaking) with removal at 8:15 to St. Patrick’s Church Castlerea. Mass of the Resurrection will take place on Saturday morning at 11 o’clock with burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery Castlerea Funeral Mass for Paddy will be live-streamed can be viewed on the following link www.mcdonaghfuneraldirectors.ie/live-stream
